We're the shellfish industry. We don't have to care.

Non-permitted geoduck farm placed in
Kitsap County's tidelands. Mr. Kimmel says
he "didn't know" he needed a permit in 2013.
 
Almost 6 months after Mr. Kimmel agreed
to remove all gear he has left as a statement
to neighbors and agencies his thoughts.
Including over 9,000 geoduck he will be able
to harvest in another 2-3 years, pocketing the profits.
No doubt he now wishes he had planted more.
